Daniel is a musician specialized in acoustic guitar. His style ranges from Blues, jazz blues, bossanovas, latin boleros, pop music,and fingerstyle. He is a singer and performer as well. Depending on the need of the student, Daniel will design the teaching approach that he'll use. It can go from music theory, modal improvisation, scales and fingerboard harmony.
He has performed with Latin bands, he is a songwriter and composer. He's worked with children at Arts Connection in New York. He's bilingual English/Spanish. He studied guitar at the New School University in New York.
Some of his influences are Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, Tom Jobim, T.Bone Walker, The Beatles.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Music Teaching 1) Explained and demonstrated music techniques, music theory, and understanding of keys. 2) Demonstrated to students of all ages how to read music notation and tablature. 3) Taught music basics,such as correct posture, hand placement, fretting and tuning. 4) Introduced song writing and creation of melodies and harmonies to students of all ages. 5) Taught improvisation over harmonic changes. 6) Maintained student attendance records and other required records.

I went to Solano Community College in Fairfield CA, Norwalk Community College in Norwalk CT, and Academia Luis A Calvo in Bogota, Colombia. Ass. Degree in Music Studies from San Diego Mesa College.

Mr. Daniel was very professional from the moment i contacted him regarding being lost. Furtheermore, once the lesson began he did a great job at modifying his lesson olan based on my strengths and weaknesses.
