Randy teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, dobro, lap steel, music theory and even songwriting for Jazz,blues, country, rock, flat pick, finger-style and bottle-neck style. Reading or tab is no problem. He is influenced by artists like Wes Montgomery, Roy Buchannon, Steve Cropper & Clarence White as well as from singers (George Jones) and horn players (John Coltraine), or songwriters like Hoagy Carmicheal and Harlan Howard. My teaching approach: Experience has taught me that students "take it in" many different ways. I hone my approach to the student in front of me. I do encourage all to read some, be it tab. or trad. notation. I've played rock.C&W, jazz & show gigs and currently lead a church band. I also run a project studio. Also teach lap-steel guitar, songwriting, & keyboard for ham-fisted guitar players! My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio, Towson Md. Guitar Lessons with me include: Recording and Production, Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance, Vocal Accompaniment, Slide Guitar, Fingerstyle, Open tuning, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar, and I also teach Ukulele.
