Brian has been teaching acoustic, electric and classical guitar for over ten years.
Brian has led and trained various local bands and played guitar in Barcelona, Spain for two summers. His rhythm guitar playing has been recorded for two CD's.
Brian has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dallas Baptist University and also over 60 masters hours. He has also been a worship leader for several local churches, including Lake Arlington and First Euless.
Currently Brian has over fifty students of all ages. He loves the opportunity of teaching music every day, and believes anyone can learn the guitar.
His teaching philosophy: teach the instrument, not just songs. This means giving students the tools and skills necessary to play any song or genre they want to learn.
He also believes in the "vegetables and dessert" method of teaching music - that you need both. The vegetables: music theory, discipline, finger exercises - make you a healthy musician - and the dessert: jamming out to fun songs the students love!! :) He tries to incorporate both in his lessons.
