My name is Kevin, and I'm a guitarist of 16 years. I have recieved 8 years of private instruction, I have years of gigging experience, and I have briefly studied in the Texas State classical guitar department. I am open to teach aspiring guitarists of all skill levels, however I am specifically passionate about developing intermediate guitarists into advanced players. I want to help intermediate guitarists not intimidated scales and modes, sight reading, extended chords, and improvisation. In my early to mid years of playing I did not have a solid grasp on these concepts, not becasue I couldn't understand them but because I convinced myself I couldn't understand them. Through countless hours of study, I began to grasp these ideas and that's when my playing began to significantly improve. My goal is to help lessen the learning curve of these concepts to intermediate guitarists so they can find their voice and develop exponential growth of performance and knowledge.
