Margaret has been my piano teacher since NovemberI have weekly lessons with her. She is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and supportive teacher. She always displays a positive attitude and seemingly endless patience. She has taught me music theory and effective techniques to overcome difficulties in learning new pieces. Her extensive education in music and her background in performance was apparent from my first lesson. She is a true professional. Margaret is very flexible. I have had lessons in her studio, my home or via Skype as the situation required. She is always prepared and ready to go when our lessons start. We love our instructor Margaret Y.
I want to say that we love Margaret. Our kids really like her. She's awesome on all levels. Always on time, always upbeat. Our kids just practice now with no prodding from us. My daughter has had two other instructors and she clearly likes this set up of doing it at home and the way Margaret approaches it the most of all approaches. Feel free to use this email if it helps as a testimonial for Margaret and the service. Having her come right to the house creates so much peace after having a long day. We have a nice dinner, no one has to rush off, and then the house is filled with beautiful music. Before, it was "hurry up and cook, then hurry up and eat, now hurry up lets go," then run off again into traffic after just fighting it only a few hours earlier on the way home. This is a great instructor and the in home service is wonderful in regards to creating peace. The pricing was, I believe, slightly better than having to go out somewhere, spend on gas, sit in traffic, not clean dishes, not spend time with my other kids, and then feel feel frazzled after it all.
