About Me

Ciarra G. is a 22-year-old, classically trained Dramatic Soprano based in Washington, DC. She currently attends the Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance. She aspires to establish a prominent brand of her own, and grace the stages of Broadway and opera houses, nationally and internationally. With her love of music and education, she plans to continue her formal education and receive her Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy. Although she is young, Ciarra G. has been professionally trained, and surrounded by educators and working musicians of highly-esteemed musical institutions since 2006. She has been inspired by great minds of vast knowledge, and has gained access to great educational resources over the years. Ciarra G. works with her students. She easily adapts to different comfort levels, and is very receptive to different learning styles. Ciarra G. partners with her students to evaluate and determine the functional and organic problem areas within the voice. She also integrates application of basic music theory, and sight-singing to build confidence and enable independent analysis away from lessons. Lastly, Ciarra G. builds individualized warm-ups, vocalizes, and vocal exercises designed to target the problem areas of the voice, creating a tailor-made experience for each student.

Ciarra G.- has over 9 years of music experience in the Washington area.
