Michael TaylorMusician Bio See Me @ My Youtube Channel @ Muzyxman : Michael has a A.S. in Commercial Music degree. He started playing drums 
at 15-years-old. He’s taught, played and toured for 20-plus years. In college, Michael was presented the IAJE (International Association of Jazz Educators) prestigious award for Vocal Jazz Drummer. Michael’s career spans all kinds of venues and opportunities. He was house drummer on Carnival Cruise Lines; a pit musician for musicals and shows, chamber singers, choirs and Big Bands. He was a church staff drummer and bass player for multiple churches for 20 years; and taught and conducted church youth band. Some of his playing was volunteered at the churches he worshipped with. Michael is former worship leader at Green Oak Ranch; and former percussion teacher for Boys and Girls club, after-school programs, several public middle schools, and Band Camp director at Encinitas Country Day School. Michael has extensive club and venue experience including Cricket Amphitheater, House of Blues in San Diego, the famous Fillmore in San Francisco, the Henry Miller Library grounds and the Southern Comfort Tour. Michael plays several genres of music Jazz, Rock, Country, Latin, Hawaiian, and more. He toured extensively as drummer for Holiday and the Adventure Pop Collective, an Americana band, which received best Americana Band in San Diego nominee two years in a row. He was a drummer for the Guinness Book of Records entry for most-travelled band in the world, Liquid Blue. He works well with click tracks and sequences. Michael’s been a sessions drummer and bass guitar player. He’s had the fortune to record with bands that have released albums. He arranges and writes music. He can sing lead and harmony. His work ethic is compatible with other musicians. He has true musical intuition. He was accepted to Berklee College of Music and Miami School of Music, both on partial scholarships.
