I have been trained through a highly demanding Middle School and High School band program. Making top band in Middle School 7 & 8 grade and top band in High School 10-12 grades. These programs provided a strong fundamental education through top ranking concert and marching band programs. These programs made State and Regional Contests during all years of my participation. I have also played in the University of Houston Jazz Band.

I have taken private lessons throughout middle school and high school for percussion and drum kit. I have worked with high level drummers and music producers in the studio to develop as a studio drummer and learn what kind of playing is needed for the professional musician setting.

I have performed in State marching band and concert band contests on the Snare line and in the Top Concert Band from grade 7-12. I have performed in Jazz band at U of H during seasonal and annual concerts. I played in a rock band from 1996 through 2013.

I have experience teaching private percussion lessons beginning in 2002. In 2005 I began to teach percussion and drum set lessons. I have taught more drumset lessons these past few years for various aspiring drummers.
