Growing up in a house where the piano was the first thing you could see when you walk through the front door, I could not get away from music even if I wanted to. I was taught piano since I was about 7 years old. Going to music schools and taking classes, having teachers come into my home, and always the impromptu lessons from my mother (a classically trained pianist). Vocally, my parents never focused too much on putting me in lessons. Singing is an ability all of my sisters and I have been blessed with. I took some lessons at a performing arts school as well, in an attempt to sharpen my skills. My songwriting was birthed from my passion for music. Guitar came about recently in my college years. I picked it up and refused to put it down until I learned something. That became a daily routine for me. 
My history with music has lead me to where I am today. Playing music, almost professionally, booking gigs, teaching kids and getting amazing opportunities to do what I love. Guitar is my primary instrument, I write all of my songs and I sing. My goal in life is to reach people via music. To touch people's lives and in some way, assist them in whatever journeys they want to go on, using music to pave the way.
