Jonatan was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was introduced to the Electric Bass at the age of sixteen. Since then, he has studied privately with Cesar Franov, attended The Manuel de Falla Conservatory learning the Contra Bass, Escuela de Musica Popular de Avellaneda, and Escuela de Musica Popular (Buenos Aires), where the Berklee method is taught.
At the age of nineteen, he left his home country to further pursue music as a career. After 2 tours as an entertainer for Royal Caribbean International, Jonatan moved to Toronto and later New York City seeking more. Playing, recording, and teaching in both cities, his desires came together as he began his solo career.
Finally, Jony decided to move to San Diego in 2008. He has worked since then with Higher Ground Music (recording and producing), as private teacher, and as a music coach for Hoover High school.

Transfer student from B.M.C.C. (New York City.) Actually attending Senior year at San Diego State University majoring in Jazz studies.
Completed six years of high school in 2003 at I.T.P.A. (Institute Technological Philips Argentina) with a technician degree in Electrical and Mechanical work.
Completed a two-year program in 2005 at the School of Contemporary Music associated with Berklee Boston in Argentina. Completed a two-year course in 2003 at the School of Popular Music of Avellaneda. Completed a two-year program in 2002 at Conservatory Manuel de Falla. (All of above were taken in Spanish.)
Completed a twelve-month contract in May 2006 for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a musician in a Latin band.
