Simone is an award-winning songwriter, recording artist, and performing drummer. During her 20+ years in music, Simone co-founded and wrote for well-known indie rock bands, toured with nationally known acts as a drummer, and helped form one of country music's hottest groups. She now teaches drum lessons, vocal lessons, piano lessons and songwriting. Her experience as a performer drives her to create an enjoyable, productive learning session for her students. Simone provides a safe and encouraging environment for self-expression. Her goal is to not only teach children how to play an instrument, write a song or sing, but to help them find their voice and give them greater confidence.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect positivity and encouragement, while learning to listen, master groove and pocket-eventually developing their own drumming style.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect positivity and encouragement, while learning basic fundamentals of breathing, control, strengthening the diaphragm, body posture and listening for pitch-eventually developing their unique vocal thumbprint.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect positivity and encouragement, while learning the basics of technique, sitting position and knowledge of the keyboard. They will also learn the fundamentals of meter, rhythm, beat and time-eventually leading to reading music.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect positivity and encouragement, while learning the fundamentals, structure, creativity and intuition of telling a story and writing a song.

Performing Experience:
Simone has performed throughout the U.S. and internationally with Sugarland, the Indigo Girls, South 70, and Drew Baldridge. She has performed at the Grand Old Opry, the CMA Music Festival, Country USA, CMC Rocks in Australia, Tortuga Music Festival, and Route 91 Harvest Festival.
