I am gearing up to move to the DC area to start working a Weds-Sat job in the city. I am looking to fill up some of those other days teaching music lessons. I have a very extensive background in music, starting back in 3rd grade with my first piano lesson. From there, I started taking up more and more instruments (guitar in 5th grade, band and choir in 6th grade, and drums and bass guitar in high school) and have continued to sharpen my skills at these instruments since then. Aside from performing and teaching on these various instruments, I have also taken interest in recording and writing my own music. This is been an interest of mine since high school, as well, and have been honing that craft since.
Sean H has over 2 years of music experience in the Poquoson area.

"Sean was a great student at James Madison University. He has a great personality and is very dedicated to his art. I recommend him highly!" David Cottrell wrote at Saturday, Dec. 10th 2016
"Sean is a wonderful instructor for all ages and levels. He currently teaches piano, voice, and guitar at my studio. We offer lessons that include music theory, sight reading training, ear training, improvisation and composition skills. Sean has been delivering quality lessons with my studio for over a year now. He connects with the student and parent and creates an atmosphere that motivates students and creates a love for music in them. Sean is more fluent in contemporary piano repertoire, however, he's been taking lessons with me doing classical music for some time now so he could do up to intermediate classical piano lessons. He was made manager shortly after he started working and became the person who subbed for other instructors and handled the store when I was not in town. He's great at stepping in when needed and a very dependable worker. He also brings a calm atmosphere to the space which makes the environment a great place to come to. He was handling a student load of around 20, but could easily handle more." Julie Post wrote at Thursday, Dec. 08th 2016
"Sean was my voice student for four years at James Madison University. He is diligent, creative and personable. His musical skill is both broad and deep. He will be a wonderful and supportive teacher." David Newman wrote at Wednesday, Dec. 07th 2016
