Started educating myself in music in 2007. Since then, I have performed piano and keyboards in various professional and amateur settings throughout the years. In 2011, I made composition and production to be my primary focus. After studying at Columbia College Chicago for one year in 2012-13, I transferred to Reno, Nevada, where I joined the Reno Video Game Symphony as a member on the Board of Directors until December 2015. For the last several years, I have composed the soundtracks for several forms of media, such as video games and stage plays. The most recent of this will be performing in Reno, Nevada this coming May (2017).
Clark H has over 10 years of music experience in the Reno area.

Performing Experience:
I have been performing publicly since 2011, in various ensembles and venues on both an amateur and professional setting. These have included orchestral ensembles, jazz bands, klezmer groups, and rock bands. In many of these groups, I also contributed compositions and arrangements.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching at an elementary school in Reno, NV from 2014 to present. In addition to teaching in this formal academic setting, I have taught in special workshops and clinics with the Reno Video Game Symphony (one event in the picture below), collaborating with school boards and working with younger, less experienced musicians. Through the Symphony program, I have given private lessons to members for composing/arranging, piano, and music theory.

Clark H. is a True Talent and a Wonderful Collaborator/Teacher!
I hired Clark as a composer for a stage play I am directing, set to open next month. I have been familiar with his work as a pianist for a long time, and have spent many evenings over the last few months discussing the score as he progressed through its development. It goes without question that I have been incredibly happy with Clark's music, as he is a very gifted composer, but what's impressive about Clark is his passion, knowledge, and ability to convey his art. I do not have a background in music, yet with Clark I feel like I can talk about it effortlessly due to how relatable he can make it feel. Clark would never be satisfied with just giving me music and going along his way, he's dedicated to presenting, step-by-step, his techniques and motivations in creating his work. I've often thought that Clark is a very natural teacher, even when he isn't in the classroom. I highly recommend Clark as an instructor, he is an absolute joy with work with and my experience with him has personally taught me a great deal.
