I'm a full time musician, I have my own latin jazz ensembles (Camelia Latin jazz Trio/Quartet/Quintet/Sextet), and have been teaching privately at my home since 1992. I have a diploma in Professional music from Berklee College Of Music, and a degree in "Music Pedagogy" from the National Pedagogic University in Bogota Colombia. I specialize in teaching the understanding of popular (non-classical) music, rhythm, harmony (chords) and melody. My teaching method is based on discoveries done in the field of studying by L. Ron Hubbard who discovered the 3 main barriers to studying and how to solve them, and as such I can guarantee results with any student who's willing to go thru my program. The end product of my teaching program is, a student who understands:  1. the components of popular (non-classical) music; 2. how to read, write and create rhythms; 3. how to read, write and create melodies and chord progressions; 4. how to apply this information to his or her instrument.
