I have been playing guitar for 34 years, 24 years proffessionally. I was teaching guitar for I.R.C. Musicin Indianapolis from 1989 to 1994. I also taught at GuitarWorks in Greenwood from 1999 to 2004. My schedule consisted of approximately 60 students per week. I was teaching guitar, bass, mandolin and pedal steel guitar. The gaps in my teaching were due to my road gigs. I was playing for such people as David Frizzell,Hank Thompson, Johnny Paycheck and the Hager Twins of Hee-Haw. I was in the band Southern Draw who opened for national acts like Trick Pony, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allen, Trace Atkins and more. A few of my students from my Days at I.R.C. have gone on to have there own carrer in music. One that comes to mind is Ann McWilliams of Indianapolis. She has released an album locally and is doing very well. I am looking to teach again because I have always enjoyed giving the gift of music to people while being able to make a living doing what I love. If you are interested please contact me.
