Seth Fa

My name is Seth. I'm 21 years old and have been playing guitar for 5 years. My mother bought my father an old Sekova guitar for his birthday 5 years ago, but he never touched it. I took great interest in the instrument and began teaching myself the chords out of the book she gave him. Immediately, I began writing my own songs and learning more chords, theory & scales. Working at Bert Murdock Music in Utah for the past 2 1/2 years has helped me attain an immense knowledge of both equipment and theory. While I was there, I studied acoustic and electric guitar, including solid woods, amplification, hardware, effect pedals and guitar repair. I also met and played with many talented musicians in Utah Valley who passed on knowledge and technique. Jazz is my passion and have made that music genre my primary study. I'm also proficient in classical fingerstyles, blues, metal and popular music from the 50's to the wide variety of today!
