What is Taylor Robinson Music

TR Music is a national chain of music schools that offer private, one-on-one music lessons. We pride ourselves on our ability to build customized lesson plans for each student based on their particular needs and interests. These lessons take place in one of our instructor's studios or in the comfort of your own home. Though we have hundreds of instructors to choose from, our lesson coordinators are here six days a week to help you pick the right one, get scheduled, and handle any questions or concerns that might arise.

How are Taylor Robinson Music instructors vetted for safety and quality?

TR Music employs one of the industry's most stringent quality standards. Instructors are subjected to employment level both criminal and sex offender background checks. In addition, Taylor Robinson Music reviews its instructor applications background, education, and work history as both musicians and teachers. Since the company's start in 2005, Taylor Robinson Music has provided over 118,000 hours of lessons nationwide. This level of experience and commitment to quality has helped us build partnerships with the Hard Rock Cafe, Music-Go-Round, and with Home School Associations from across the nation. TR Music has also recently become a proud member of the Guitar Center and Musician's friend affiliate program. This affiliation provides our customers with convenient access to great instruments and accessory deals through the links on our website. Finally, we are members in good standing with the Texas Secretary of State and are proud to boast an A+ record with the Better Business Bureau. (Click here to check our rating with the BBB)

What makes Taylor Robinson Music so special?

Our instructors make TRMC so special. Instead of simply a group of academics, TRMC instructors are all working, pro musicians. That means they are actual songwriters, recording artists, and performing musicians from the area. This background makes for a much more hands-on, working knowledge approach. It also makes our lessons much more relevant and modern music-focused. Our instructors teach Rock, Pop, Country, Blues, R&B, Soul, Gospel, and Praise music; not just classical and jazz. If you're looking for an old lady with a ruler, you won't find her here.

Can Taylor Robinson Music fit my schedule needs?

TRMC is proud to be an extremely flexible option on the market for private instruction. Whenever you are available, seven days a week, TRMC has an instructor for you. As schedules can often be unpredictable you don't have to commit to a particular day or time each week. When you have time, we have time. We also have an online scheduling system that allows you to view your instructor's availability and reserve your time online. Though you are welcome to book your lessons at whatever time is most convenient for you, we do ask that you give us 24 notice to cancel. This allows us the time to get the message to the teacher and to possibly book that time with another student. (Click here to view our full 24-hour cancellation policy)
