About Me

Shana is an arts consultant and voice coach, assisting emerging and professional artists/students in developing strategies to achieve their desired goals. Her work in arts education, the performing arts sector, museums, grants management, and marketing culminates in over 15 years of experience. She has enjoyed teaching voice for 3 years with students of all ages-in all styles of singing! She received a BA in Music (Voice) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and in 2006, a Masters in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans. Shana has performed with diverse musical groups and has appeared with the Greensboro Opera Company. Shana loves the opportunity to work with voice students and create a unique singing experience.

Personalized lessons that explore technique and are tailored to the students interest. I love leading students in vocal activities that free the voice and explore the technical aspects of singing (pitch, tone, dynamics, range), as well as the holistic, healing aspects of the voice, breath and singing.
