My name is DeMarius and I am the Director and Officer in Charge of Marine Corps Band New Orleans. I earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Winthrop University and a master’s in jazz studies from Rowan University. I have served as a woodwind and jazz combo instructor at the Navy School of Music in Virginia Beach, VA and as lead alto saxophonist and Officer in Charge of the Marine Corps Jazz Orchestra. I have performed and worked with many artists and organizations to include Aaron Neville, Jennifer Holliday, Bob Mintzer, Wayne Bergeron and the Virginia, Richmond, and Charlotte Symphony Orchestras.
