As a classically trained violinist, Hillary has performed in a variety of chamber music ensembles, orchestral settings, and as a soloist and has received a number of awards and honors as a musician. She is a dedicated teacher. She enjoys working with her students and loves to share her passion for music with them. Hillary is a patient, caring, creative, instructor who has a holistic approach to teaching.

Hillary is a graduate of Towson University where she studied violin with former concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic as well as the Tonhalle Orchestra. She studied chamber music with internationally renowned cellist, Cecilia Barczyk. She also was a former student at the Baltimore School for the Arts which has produced such famous alumni as Jada Pinkett-Smith and Tupac Shakur.
