Thomas C.

I am a multi-instrumentalist Brazilian-American with a conservatory background in guitar and theory studies (Souza Lima in SP, Brazil), certified sound engineer (Instituto de áudio e Vídeo in SP, Brazil) and have worked as a sound designer for cartoon and film (Confraria de Sons e Charutos in SP, Brazil). Currently, I am studying West African Djembé music and perform in a drum ensemble in Chicago. I have been fortunate to study music with great masters who have transmitted ancient knowledge that has transformed my life, and I hope to link my students with this knowledge to expand their musical horizons, cultivate passion and learn to communicate in the universal language that is music. I also speak and sing English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. I am eager to meet you! There is a lot I want to share with you and a lot of fun to be had!
