I'm a 22 year-old multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Macon. Just moved back from Atlanta to start a family. I specialize in percussion and can teach beginning to advanced percussion (jazz, rock, classical etc) students and beginning guitar, bass, and piano students. I've played drums for 12 years and guitar/keys for around 3. I play with Grammy winner Kebbi Williams(known for his work with Tedeschi Trucks Band and Outkast among others), jazz great Woody Williams(worked with Duke Ellington an Oteil Burbridge), and write and tour with original bands. Ive had a passion for teaching since I was in band in high school and have an easy time breaking down and communicating musical concepts to others. What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
I can offer comprehensive lessons on technique(posture, coordination, sticking, limb Independence, etc)and practical knowledge in playing many styles of music authentically(rock, funk, jazz, pop, latin, electronic, worship, etc). I can teach students how to read rhythms and have an extensive book collection to help them develop different techniques and styles. Some students learn better by listening and playing together with music which is a route I am also comfortable taking this route or developing some mixture of the two approaches depending on each students needs.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Introduction to basic techniques(fretting, strumming, picking, posture etc) and musical concepts(scales, chords, basic theory info). Can help with reading music if they want to do that but can help with the more intuitive approach if that's what they are going for.
