Elizabeth started learning classical piano at the age of 10 and violin at the age of 12. She started with private instructors and went on to study music at the University of Chicago. There, she was a violinist in the symphony orchestra and was on scholarship for private piano lessons. She returned to her hometown of Naples and has been teaching privately since.
