What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
They will be laid back and we will work on whatever it is they want to improve on or learn more about. I will be catering more to their interest and going from there helping them develop their individual sound.
What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
-
We will focus on intonation, technique, and working on solo pieces as well as orchestral music. I will show the students various exercises to improve their bowing and over all sound.
Formal Education:
Went to Jackson highschool and was apart of jazz band, jazz combo, jazz choir and wind ensemble.
Private Education:
Went to Whitworth University and got my bachelors in English with a minor in music. Have Played in jazz band, jazz combo and orchestra during my four years of education.
Performing Experience:
Have played in orchestras, rock bands, pop bands, jazz combos. Have done touring and played in various venues in the greater Seattle area. Currently in two bands. A rock band and a funk/soul/jazz trio led by me.
Experience Teaching:
Bass coach for middle school students. Worked as an intern at a jazz camp.
