What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Here's a basic rundown of what to expect for the first lesson: What kinds of music do you enjoy to listen to? What genre(s) of music are you interested in studying? What do you want to accomplish out of your music lessons? Set a goal for yourself. Let's reach it together! Following questions of this nature, there will be some vocal warm-ups so that I may assess vocal range and agility. After the first one, do your best to progress a little bit every lesson. Keep in mind that every week isn't easy, but Rome wasn't built in a day, right? It's all about practice, practice, practice!
Experience Teaching:
Hi-I’m Karina, and I have over 10 years of experience in classical singing. I believe in meeting students at their current musical capability and building that capability up, rather than pushing them to achieve a voice they have not yet built the foundations for. To do this, I utilize my classical background to help students to both find and nurture their natural and healthiest singing voice. I strive to have a judgement free, and inclusive space for all to explore their musical capabilities.
