What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Students can expect to learn proper techniques for singing. They will learn how to sing in a way that healthy and useful. Younger students (under the age of 12) can expect shorter lessons learning folk songs with some basic piano mixed in. Older students can expect to learn more about vocal pedagogy while learning common repertoire for students. Lessons will be formatted to help the student improve and learn more about music.
Formal Education:
I have studied music at Victoria College, Texas State, and Concordia University. I will graduate from Concordia University in December 2018 with a Bachelors in Music.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in a variety of performances over the years including musical theater, opera, and choral masterworks.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught several students over the past few years and I have helped my students achieve their musical goals while having fun! My students have competed and succeeded in UIL solo and ensemble, All-State Choir, and national honor choirs.
