I began teaching piano over 30 years ago, and my interests lie in exploring how the study of music and art can help ALL people live more creative, connected and enjoyable lives. Watching people of all ages and abilities including special needs discover and re-discover their creativity has been a thrill of mine since high school. Lessons cover technique, theory, creativity improvisation and songwriting. I've put together a program to help most teens and adults get up and running very quickly! For younger children I often use puppets and toys, and am constantly seeking new and innovative approaches.
