About Me

I was born in Memphis, Tenesse in November of 1995 and started my drum career around 6 years of age. I was introduced to drums in upon Wichita, Kansas and have a heavy Christian background. I found a passion in playing drums through playing in the ministry. I am now a well-developed artist who plays in all genres. I am most inspired by Buddy Rich, Dennis Chambers and many more.

Formal Education:

Throughout my secondary educational carrer, at Brooks Magnet Middle School and Wichita Heights High School, I was taught foundational skills, jazz band, drum line, snare work, etc. I also went through a Music Theory class at Bultler Community College in which I was taught the background of music and the comprehension of reading music and musical charts.

Private Education:

In my private education career I was introduced to cohesion with other instruments, adapting to different music environments, playing with tracks; loops;etc. and comprehending the breakdown of a track (intros, outros, fillers).

Performing Experience:

My performance experience includes Jazz illustrations, quintet music with Nathan Williams and Quintet for 2 years to the the current. In addition, I played several funk sets under Rudy Love Jr. for many years and I still continue to preform. I have performed in a few live screenplays. As an artist, I focused some time on studio recording for Brickhouse Music, Pop artist and Crystal Clayten. Lastly, I have exprience with Christian artist playing live music with April Cooper, Alexis Spight, Cameo & One Way, Zarcardi Cortez, Chrystal Rucker, etc.

Experience Teaching:

I have done several private lessons for children and developing artist in the community. I taught lessons breifly at School of Rock in Wichita, Kansas and also at Damm Music in west Wichita.
