I began playing at the age of 16 and had my first gigs within a few months. I moved to London and turned pro when I was 21. I played in all the leading clubs in London. I played the Top Ten club in Hamburg where the Beatles started and toured with opening and backing bands for many stars and toured Europe several times with my own band before coming to America. I toured the states with my own band before settling down to teaching and local gigs in Nashville.

I took music lessons from top local teachers in my area, learned rock and roll and blues from Alvin Lee of TenYears After. I also have received instruction from Barney Kessel Howard Roberts and Lennie Breau.

I have played in dance bands, rock and roll, and blues groups and led my own band.

I have several years teaching in music stores and in my own home where I have my own studio.
