Joey Ta

My name is Joey. I'm 22 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 9 years old. I'm totally self taught and was originally a Classical Guitar player. I started listening to Metal when I was about 14 or 15ish and have been playing primarily Metal ever since. I used to play for a band called Never Before Here in Salt Lake City with whom a Record Contract was made with Warner Bros. for about a year and a half. I've had the opportunity to record in Los Angeles with Dave Dominguez who is a well known producer of such bands as: Papa Roach, Staind, Weezer, Offspring and several others that were very successful. I would primarily prefer to teach students that are at a moderate to advanced level primarily wanting to learn Metal or Indie Rock. I can teach you anything from how to play and how to structure songs based on your own ideas.
