About Me

I am a vocalist and songwriter trying to get everybody to love and feel music like I do! I grew up in the church and I have been singing since I was 5. I grew up in a house with 2 other singing sisters so we formed a group and sang all across the state. The older I got the more serious about singing I became. At 15, I was appointed the minister of music at my local church. It was there that I became passionate about sharing my craft and knowledge with others. It is easy to sing a note but it’s about what happens before the note that makes all the difference. After completing high school, I went to secure my bachelors. I majored in Business Management and minored in music. In my lessons I like to focus on the individual voice of the student and building performances confidence. I also focus on corrective breathing, tone quality, diction, facial expressions, hearing and seeing notes, and much more! Although my background mostly stems from gospel music, I have trained vocalist in classical and contemporary forms as well. Vocal technique is relevant and essential no matter the style of music being sung. I look forward to working with you and assisting you in become the vocalist you always wanted to be.
