Hello! My name is Katie. My mother signed me up for piano lessons when I was 6. I took lessons my entire childhood with a private instructor. When I turned 16 my mom got me a beautiful baby grand piano for Christmas and she gave me the news I would be continuing my lessons at Davidson College in Davidson, NC where I'm originally from. Ever since that Christmas I realized piano was my true passion, and that I want nothing more than to spread my knowledge and admiration of the keys to anybody I can!

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I take everything at my student's pace. I assign a piece, or lesson sheet with scales or exercises and throughout the weeks we aren't together I expect them to be practiced. Each person learns at their own rate and in different ways. For example I always learned from watching, more than I did from sheet music. It will take a couple of lessons to figure out how you learn music best but I am confident in my abilities as a musician to inspire my students to stay persistent and push limits we didn't think we could pass AS A TEAM.
