Hi, I'm Tamara! I am a vocalist from Houston, Texas, and I've been a music student for 18 years. My musical influences include genres ranging from country and classical to soul and alternative. My teaching style can best be described as thorough and engaging! I hope to lead students to grow their musical palette and confidence as I help prepare them for auditions, musical pieces, and concerts. I want to remind my students never to stop learning and developing their love for music! I can't wait to meet you! NOW ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS FOR Fall 2023!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
For Beginner Students: (ages 4-15) My voice lessons are designed to give younger students a head start at music literacy. This lesson & rhythm practice-musical history-breathing techniques-musicality-fundamental musical key terms. For Intermediate Students: (ages 10-15) My voice lessons are designed to prepare students to get ready for upcoming Junior High and High School auditions, concerts, and events such as Solo & Ensemble, Pop Show/Spring Show, Talent Show, District & Region Choir, and the All-State Choir process.
Formal Education:
I have a Bachelor of Arts in International Development with a minor in Economics and Finance! I hope to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in the future!
Performing Experience:
I have years of performing experience with TMHS Wildcat Chorale, Texas Master Chorale, and various church choirs. I performed at Solo and Ensemble and Concert events and through the TMEA All-State Process all 4 years of high school.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching one-on-one lessons for the last ten years. I specialize in working with younger students to help them find their voice and fuel their passion for music!
