Review About Me
I teach violin lessons to beginner and intermediate students. I have been playing the violin for over a decade and I have been teaching various subjects for three years. My favorite genres of music are classical, jazz, and electronic. I have started teaching myself music theory so that I can compose better arrangements for the violin. I also have dabbled with the piano, marimba, and percussion, but do not feel adequately qualified yet to teach those.

I have a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington. One of my favorite classes was the History of Jazz!

I was instructed by Ms. Megan Bevill in violin. Ms. Bevill has performed with violinists such as Itzhak Perlman.
Performing Experience:
I was in the Rappahannock Youth Symphony Orchestra throughout my teens and then I joined the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught subjects such as Chinese, Arabic, and GED for three years. I also have experience as an English as a Second Language teacher for Chinese children.
