Hi, my name is Shalyndria and I am a 20-year-old, junior psychology major from Memphis, TN. I have been a student of music for 9 years. My musical influences include wind ensemble and I also enjoy marching band. My teaching style can best be described as fun and patient. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I feel that every person is unique and talented in their own way. I learn from my students as my students learn from me. In my lessons, you can expect to learn perseverance, dedication, and passion for music. I like to tell my students that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. My favorite thing about teaching is that it helps someone advance further than where they are. My students love that I and patient and understanding. I primarily teach teens, but I can also teach young adults. My approach as a teacher is to make the student feel comfortable and important. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
