Cody began playing Piano at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by participating and band and taking percussion lessons. He gained performance experience in the Charleston area by playing at such venues as Music Farm, Music Hall, and the Pour House with acts such as Little Stanger, See Water and WhiteHall. Though Cody can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Blues, Jazz, and Funk which had great influence on his style of playing.Cody loves music because it's freeing and expressive and he loves teaching music because he likes to help people find their expressive outlet.
