Hi, my name is Joshua and I am a Producer from Dayton, OH. I have been a student of music for over 10 years. My musical influences include Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, and I also enjoy Gospel. My teaching style can best be described as fun, outgoing and creative. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I allow the artist to develop into their own and build from the inside. In my lessons, you can expect to learn song writing, composing, production, recording, mixing and mastering. I like to tell my students you’re the creativity for the next generation to look up to. My favorite thing about teaching is the positivity and understanding of the music that we can create. My favorite performance was in Los Angeles last year opening for bands at Coachella. My students love that I listen and encourage them to create. I primarily teach recording and production, but I can also teach marketing of the artist, management and artist development. My approach as a teacher is to understand the student and build in the direction their imagination wants to venture while still getting them prepared for the music industry.
