Hi, my name is Cole and I am a Brass teacher from Phoenix. I have been a student of music for 9 years. My musical influences include John Williams, Sibelius, and the Beatles and I also enjoy movies. My teaching style can best be described as experience based performance. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach students how to practice and learn the skills to develop proper techniques to have greater performance experience. In my lessons, you can expect to learn new practice techniques and how to better yourself to be the best musician possible. I like to tell my students practice the way you perform. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students grow and develop as musicians. My favorite performance was when I got to perform Peer Gynt 1-4 with the ASU Philharmonia. My students love that I teach from professional performing experience and know what it takes to succeed as a performer. I primarily teach French Horn and Trumpet, but I can also teach the Trombone.
