Dustin began playing guitar at the age of 13. Over the years, he developed his skills further by staying open minded to all music also had various music teachers. He gained performance experience in the Houston area by playing at such venues as wearhouse live, Walters, the strand Galveston etc. Though Dustin can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are all genres of rock, from indie, country, and ambient to soft technical rock, metal also a lot of rnb which had great influence on his style of playing.  Dustin loves music because of the freedom of expression and the power you hold at the tips of the fingers, also loves teaching music because it's another form of release, to momentarily escape reality.
