Jazerae has always loved music from an early age. She began playing violin at the age of 14 and continued her education by studying music education at James Madison University. She earned a Bachelors of Music Education degree and is licensed to teach music. Her musical influences include Sarah Chang, Dr. Wanchi Huang, Suzuki, Dorothy Delay, Orff, Kodaly, Amadi Azikiwe, and Oistrakh. Jazerae's favorite thing about music is its versatility and opportunity to allow the musician to be creative and expressive. Jazerae's favorite thing about teaching music making a difference in a child's life. One of her favorite teaching experiences was helping a child with Autism discover his musical talent and win first place in a music competition. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to have fun while learning string skills and to see results they will be proud of. Your child will be given essential elements of string technique to improve their repertoire. In addition, your child will explore repertoire beyond classical and traditional works such as jazz, blues, and billboard 100 songs.
