About Me

Stephanie has experience teaching music to students of all ages and backgrounds. Stephanie has taught in the Chicago suburbs, Jacksonville and St, Augustine, FL as well as Eugene, OR and Brighton, MI. She has taught K-12 music, including band, choir and general music. She also has taught AP Music Theory and musical theatre. Stephanie also has experience as a church music director working at churches in East Lansing, MI and Neptune Beach, FL. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Music Education from Michigan State University. During her time at MSU she was also the assistant conductor for Campus Choir and assistant taught early childhood music classes at the Michigan State University Community Music School. Stephanie has sung with the State Singers choir under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Reed and Women's Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Sandra Snow. Additionally, Stephanie participated in operas and the pop a cappela group "Ladies First". Mrs.has traveled in performance tours to Europe, Ohio, Michigan, and New York City. In 2012, she spent the summer studying at the Centro Studi di Carlo della Giacomo in Italy to further enhance her classical music studies. Stephanieis certified to teach K-12 Music in the states of Illinois, Florida and Michigan. She lives in the north Chicago suburbs with her husband, along with their son and two dogs. When she is not teaching, you can find Stephanie on a hiking trail, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or spending quality time with family and friends.
