About Me

DeMarcus began singing at the age of 5. Over the years, he developed his skills further by obtaining classical training and a Bachelor's in Music from The University of Maryland, College Park. He gained performance experience in the DC area by performing with string quartets and in choruses with the National Symphony Orchestra and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and with acts such as Hello, Dolly! and Dreamgirls at Riverside Theater in Virginia. Though he may teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are oratorio, musical theater and R&B which all had great influence on his style of sinnging. DeMarcus loves music because it has always been a part of him and loves teaching music because of the enjoyment his students receive from the lessons as their instrument becomes strengthened. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Initial lesson interview and assessment of vocal tone production and overall health of voice. Once the assessment is complete, an entire program is presented that will help the student obtain their personal goals. Every student will enter at a different level so this will adjust per person.
