Review About Me
I began taking private lessons with Bob Dod, a professional jazz recording artist, 1970-1976. While living in LA IO played with the El Camino College Jazz Ensemble, Dominguez Hills College Band, and the Hollywood Esquires. I played with two rock bands, Ohio Blue and Crystal Persuasion. I relocated to Phoenix in 1979 and continued my studies with Ted Goddard, Tim Rogers, and Sam Davis. My forte is original compositions with a Spanish, Classical, and Jazzy feel. I have studied the music of Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, as well as contemporary composers such as Ralph Towner and John Abercrombie.

I studied music and theory at El Camino College, played with the stage band. I also played in the Dominguez Hills stage band.
Private Education:
Bob Dod through Hogans House of music. After moving to Phoenix I took lessons from Ted Goddard , Tim Rogers, and Sam Davis.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in a variety of combinations as a solo guitarist at Cafe Express(24th st. and Camelback)in duet format and in groups.

I have only a small amount of experience teaching,although I have used anumber of different workbooks such as Mick Goodricks" Advancing Guitarist."I have a number of ideas I would like to employ to give a fresh approach to learning theory and composition.
