I began playing guitar at the age of 14. Over the years, I developed my skills further by teaching myself and taking lessons. I gained performance experience in the Grand Rapids area by playing at venues, such as local coffee shops and large events downtown, as well as venues in Tennessee, California, and South Carolina. I can teach many different genres of music; however, my personal favorites are singer song writer and folk style which had great influence on my style of playing.
