Hi, my name is Timothy, and I am a french hornist from Ohio. I have played/performed for over 25 years. I hold degrees in Music Performance, Music History/Literature, and Music Education. I have been Principal Horn of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra since 1993, a member of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra since 2003, and a professional educator for over 20 years. My teaching style can best be described as patient and thorough. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will give you my best every day. In my lessons, you can expect to learn technique as well as musicianship. I like to tell my students that music is just a metaphor for life. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students grow as people. I primarily teach Horn, but I can also teach brass and music appreciation. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
