Hi, my name is Joshua and I am a guitarist/teacher/student from Houston, Texas. I have been a student and player of music for 10+ years. Some of my favorite guitarists include: Matteo Carcassi, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paco de Lucia, Eric Johnson, and Steve Vai. I play classical and electric guitar and I am comfortable teaching both. I can teach anything from Bach to Hard Rock As a teacher, I like to have a one on one to find out what my student's learning style is and to see where they are on their musical journey. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic and advanced music theory, basic ear training, how to read music, learn how to practice efficiently, and how to play solo or with a band. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing how my students progress and knowing that I helped to foster their love of music and the guitar.
