Hi, my name is Be'Leah and I am a music student at North Carolina A&T State University from Maryland. I have been a student of music for going on about 7 years for I am currently studying vocal performance at my institution and I also attended a performing arts high school where I also studied voice and piano. My musical influences include classical and gospel, but I also enjoy R&B and soul. My teaching style can best be described as hybrid style for I will incorporate many different teaching styles depending on how the student learns. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I expect students to apply themselves and have the drive and passion to learn music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn singing techniques, and vocal health. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to share my knowledge with others and simply enjoy music with a person who also shares the same passion. My favorite performance was a performance with my close group of friends whom I established a singing group with named "Eloquence" where we sang an original song and also an arrangement of an R&B song for music students and faculty at my institution.
