Melissa began singing at an early age and joined the church choir, where someone pushed her into singing solos. By the time she reached college she was taking voice lessons and performing the National Anthem for both professional and college sporting events. After college, shemoved to Los Angeles where she continued teaching but also began working with some of the best vocal coaches in the state. Melissa began performing locally and nationally with her own band and recording. After 7 years she moved back to CO where she loves helping others discover their dreams of becoming a professional singer. She loves all aspects of the business and teaches not just vocal skills, but performance skills. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I work in all areas of vocal performance. We start out with a 10-15 warm-up where I run students through scales and other exercises to warm up the voice. I have students pick 2-3 songs that they love to sing and work well with their voice and then we break down the song. I record each session with students so that they can work on everything at home until our next lesson.
