James began playing clarinet at the age of 12 but switched to saxophone the following year. Over the years, he developed his skills further by joining the Army band, then later learning guitar. He gained performance experience in the Army band. Though James can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are jazz which had great influence on his style of playing. James loves music because music says things words cannot and loves teaching music because he loves to see the look on students' faces when they get it. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate player, James can help you expand and enhance your playing. James is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
