He has 3 advanced degrees and a lifetime career performing and teaching music. Alex has performed all over the United States and a wide array of venues, styles and settings. He is currently the tuba player for the Sarasota Pops Orchestra.

Students are expected to come prepared to lessons with all necessary books and supplies. Be warmed up and ready to play. Like athletes, we start with exercises first and then move on to the lesson. At the end of the lesson your "chops" should be buzzing and you should feel a sense of a job well done.
